HEATWAVE WARNING!.
A short term heatwave is likely to effect Karachi and adjoining areas in next 24 hours and will Continue for 3-4 Days (10th - 13th may). Under its influence Temperatures may Rise upto 41'C Where as Feels like Temperature may Rise upto 44-45'C in Karachi However due to a high pressure System Dry air will grip the city WUPK predicts Chances of Heat Stroke to Human Body are upto 65% . (Temperature will be on Peak btw 11-12th April -17)
However this does not mean that we all take this short term heatwave litely WUPK strongly Suggest to take all Necessary Precautions in order to avoid any Related Issues. The Reason for Details on Heatstroke Probability is to Neutralize the FALSE PANIC spread on Social / News Media Regarding the upcoming Heat wave.
PRECAUTIONS DURING A HEAT WAVE:
- Stay Hydrated as much as possible.
- Do Not go Outside IF not necessary.
- Keep Your House Cool
- Eat Light
- KEEP SOME WATER OUTSIDE IN SHADE FOR BIRDS AND OTHER ANIMALS.
